OUR STORY
After 25 years of landscaping, excavation and poolscapes, we started to see a lot of what NOT to do when installing a pool. With so many companies lacking pride in their work, with no sense of urgency to complete the project or going out of business altogether before the project is done. We felt like it was our obligation to expand into the pool installation, after all we’ve already been doing everything else outside of the house. We’ve specialized in pavers, walkways, patios, courtyards, accent lighting, coping, pool decks, pool deck drains, artificial turf, retaining walls, drainage, water features, flame features, putting greens, in-ground trampolines, raised garden beds, and so much more. Turquoise Pools is excited to provide a quick, elegant and efficient option for pools in our hometown of Southern Utah. Our Build process
Discovery
Discover your dreams and make sure they align with our talents. Provide insight and help you come to an educated decision for your backyard.
INSPECTION
We have to check in with the city for your safety and security and to avoid fines for violations.
DIG
Pretty self explanatory, we dig that hole! Depending on your dirt and the size of your pool this usually takes about 1-3 days.
DROP IN
This is where we place your new pool in the hole. If allowed we will drive it around the side of your home but oftentimes we just lift it right over and in the hole.
BACKFILL
We use a 1/2" clean angular gravel to allow for 95% natural compaction and detailed compaction under your steps and ledges for minimal settling. Drop in and backfill typically takes 1-2 days.
BOND BEAM
We then place a 12” thick concrete border attached to the pool and reinforced with rebar to ensure everything stays lined up with your coping, 3-5 days to dry.
EQUIPMENT & COPING
Next step is to install the coping of your choice and install all your pool equipment and show you how to use it.
LANDSCAPING & SWIMMING
Your pool is ready for use and you're welcome to jump right in! There will probably still be some landscaping to be done but your pool is ready to go!
